We are selecting a resident and independent business developer for Latin America, who strengthens relationships with importers and retailers in the coffee machine sector and create new business opportunities.

COMPANY

Our client is a well-established family-run manufacturing company that has been designing, producing and marketing worldwide for 80 years highly positioned coffee machines and complementary products.

In-house production with own technology, a wide range of products and the high customization of products and services are the key points of the success of this company.

This search is aimed at expanding its sales network in Latin America, through an independent sales agent - with a non-exclusive collaboration relationship - who will develop the business in the Central and South American markets.

POSITION

Reporting to the Italian General and Commercial Management, the Business Developer will operate in Latin American countries, as a resident or with high flexibility to work on site, with a non-exclusive agreement (agency contract or similar).

You will have the objective of developing and consolidating sales in the agreed markets, personally taking care of relationships with target customers.You will also have the opportunity to create and structure a sales force in some countries, coordinating and motivating a team of collaborators. The customer portfolio is mainly made up of high-end B2C retailers and distributors, with offline and online retail channels, who offer accurate after-sales assistance.

REQUIREMENTS 

We are looking for a person ideally resident in Central or South America (Mexico, Brazil or neighboring countries), who knows the market and has gained good experience in sales development.

A deep knowledge of the food&wine sector with a niche retail channel (not large-scale retail trade) is considered as an added value, in particular for coffee or similar products, or alternatively for high-end small household appliances sold in the B2C channel.

The Italian HQ have ambitious objectives on the Latin American markets, the current volumes and revenue being below potential: we would like to find a self-motivated, autonomous and goal-oriented person, able to select new partner customers (with or without exclusivity) on some key markets, consolidate relationships and brand reputation.

Fluency in Spanish and English and a good experience in Latin American markets are required.
